Imagine discovering an almost unknown (and surely undervalued) social media, and turning it into a powerful traffic/subscribers/money/relationships generator.
It’s what happened to me.
At that time, my English was so bad that I couldn’t land any guest post…so I tried a different road to promote my newborn Blog Growth.
I couldn’t use the words, I tried to use images.
Many months before I read an article about SlideShare by Gregory Ciotti. Gregory explained how he got a huge amount of traffic just with one presentation, and I was fascinated by that.
I ended trying it, and results were good, but I couldn’t expect much more with a non-English presentation to promote a non-English blog, so I put it apart.
When I had to promote Blog Growth which was an English blog, it became clear to me that I had to re-try SlideShare.
I put together a presentation that wasn’t so good, and results were interesting, but not yet what I wanted. I started studying presentations, and my very next one did pretty well: it was selected as one of the Featured presentations which made it get about 5,000 views.
I was happy about the result, but I was still hungry. It paid off: the next presentation was one of the Top Presentations of the Day, 30,000+ views in just one day. I was shocked!
My presentation was also analyzed by Ethos3, which is one of the best company when it comes to make presentations – thing that both made me proud and helped me to improve my presentation making skills.
Try after try I refined my presentation making skills, and I learned that getting 30,000 views in one day was just the tip of the iceberg. Think that a recent presentation that I made in barely 40 minutes reached 150,000 views in one week – yeah, you read it right, there are four zeros in that number.
I used my presentations for many different purposes, and every time I got interesting results.
As an example, I used one of my presentations to promote an infographic, with the result of spreading it all over the web.
I want to share everything I learned about SlideShare with you.
Here’s what I’m going to share with you:
- How to build marvelous presentations without any design skill
- How to reach consistently the top positions in SlideShare and get thousands of views
- How to make people click on your call to action, so they reach your blog
- How to use presentations to build your list, sell your products, get clients, etc…
- And MUCH more…
I’m going to share this stuff with you on Sunday the 11th of August, starting at 2pm EST.
A blog post isn’t enough to explain you all these things, so I made a training course.
A training course with many videos (with transcripts), presentation examples and lots of screenshots.
Stay tuned, this course is one of a kind.
